Paper Products All our paper products are made out of Lokta, a plant botanically known as Daphe Bhoula or Daphne Papyracea. It is found at an altitude of 6,500 feet to 9,500 feet from the sea level. The bark of the Lokta is used as raw material for all our paper products. Lokta plant is harvested by cutting its stem at ground level without destroying the main root. Lokta regenerates naturally in about 2 to 3 years of time. Hence, there is no adverse effect on the forest ecology.
All our note books are made out of Lokta Paper. These note books can be preserved for a very long period as they are non-perishable in water, free from germs and highly resistant to insects like silverfish, paper crawlers etc. These papers are produced without using any machines in the entire process. The scraps of these papers can be recycled easily.
